"Lebende Tiere"

Auf vielen Tiertransportern findet man den Hinweis auf den Inhalt. Warum in diesem Fall die lebenden Tiere in Anführungsstrichen stehen, weiß ich nicht. Vielleicht soll das die kleine Ironie darüber ausdrücken dass sie auf ihrem Weg zum Schlachthof jetzt schon totgeweiht sind.

Lebende Tiere in Anführungszeichen weil ein Teil bei diesen Transporten elendig verreckt und dann hat man halt auch Tote Tiere an Bord

Totgeweiht (Todgeweiht?) ist alles Lebende qua Geburt. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, daß so ein Ironiesplitter bei der Beschriftung durchscheint. Vielleicht sind die Anführungszeichen Ersatz für die sonst häufige Einkastelung solcher Beschriftungen?
