In den Archiven ist noch ein historisches Foto aus der Zeit der schlimmen Toilettenpapierknappheit zu Beginn der Corona-Pandemie im Jahr 2020 aufgetaucht.

Angaben der befragten Historiker zufolge zeigt das nachkolorierte Foto höchstwahrscheinlich ein leeres Supermarktregal, in dem vor der Pandemie möglicherweise Toilettenpapier feilgeboten wurde.
